Dear concerned, you must remember that elephants are a mere two inches from unextended trunk to tail. They are, if anything, more secretive than mice. Unless you have suffered a veritable infestation you are unlikely to see mice unless you lay traps for them and elephants, as I have previously discussed, are too cunning to fall into any human-designed trap. Their agility and nimble footed swiftness make them a contender for the best evasive mamal. Also, they use their high traction socks to good effect in domestic situations.
